Pregnancy Yoga/Postnatal Yoga
The main goals of pregnancy yoga are preparation for an active birth and reinforcement of self-respect during the time when emotions and physical fatigue can take over.
At ‘With Woman’ we are able to offer Pregnancy Yoga and Pilates at our Mansfield premises. Due to the location of our Mansfield premises it is within easy access of Derby, Chesterfield and Nottingham.
You would be taught by our highly specialist Yoga/pilates teacher Fiona who has been teaching for many years. Fiona is able to offer the following classes-

I would also like to introduce to you Ameet and Hannah have been specialists in pregnancy yoga since 2005. over the years have heard from hundreds of women what their needs are during their pregnancies. To adapt every class to those present they always begin by offering students the opportunity to discuss their needs that particular week. The result is that they tailor every class to those present and their individual needs.
Pregnancy yoga classes comprise of sequences of gentle asanas, or postures, with a strong emphasis on relaxation and breathing. On the physical level, the asanas help with birth preparation, allowing hips and pelvis to open, strengthening leg and back muscles as well as toning the pelvic floor.
The gentle asanas bring you into a state of a high self-awareness, allowing to experience the energy of one’s body and that of the baby’s beyond the otherwise overwhelming layer of emotions.
Pregnancy Yoga Classes within the Nottingham area are Tuesday and Thursday Evenings 6.15-7.30
Postnatal Yoga Wednesdays 9.45-11 and 11-12.30
